I’m a marriage celebrant and DJ based in the Waikato, helping people get married, throw great parties and have a bloody good time while doing it.

Getting married is a pretty big deal, but your ceremony doesn’t have to be overly serious, awkward or sound like it came straight from a template.

I work with couples to create ceremonies that actually sound like them. Whether you want something relaxed and funny, short and sweet, a little bit romantic, or somewhere in between, I’ll make sure it feels personal and gets the day off to a great start.

DJ

I’ve been DJing for more years than I probably care to admit, with everything from weddings and 21sts to 40ths, school balls, corporate events and big nights out under my belt.

I spent years DJing on Kiwi FM, ran the New Zealand music site SouNZgood.co.nz and have always had a huge passion for music.

As DJ SkrillHicks, I’ll tailor the music to you and your crowd. No one-size-fits-all wedding playlist, just good music and a dance floor people actually want to be on.

Funeral Celebrant

I also work as a funeral celebrant, helping families create personal and meaningful farewells for the people they love.

Every person has a story worth telling, and my approach is to make sure a service genuinely reflects the person being remembered, with warmth, honesty and, where appropriate, a bit of humour too.
