Music has been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I spent several years DJing on nationwide radio station Kiwi FM, ran New Zealand music website SouNZgood.co.nz and, as DJ SkrillHicks, have played everywhere from weddings, birthdays and school balls to bars, corporate events and major New Zealand summer festivals.
These days, weddings make up a big part of what I do.
Every wedding is different, and I don't believe in turning up with the same playlist every Saturday night. Before the big day, we'll have a chat about the music you love, the music you absolutely don't want to hear, and the kind of night you're after. From there, I'll read the room, take requests and make sure the dance floor gets the attention it deserves.
I've DJed for just about every kind of crowd over the years, so whether your guests want 80s classics, 90s and 2000s throwbacks, rock, pop, dance, Kiwi favourites, current hits or a slightly questionable combination of all of the above, we'll make it work.

I'll get you legally married, then later on I'll swap the suit and paperwork for the decks and get the party started.

It's not all weddings.
I'm available for birthdays, corporate functions, school balls, sports clubs, Christmas parties and other private events throughout the Waikato and beyond.
Over the years I've played at events including The Escape Music Festival, Dance Farm at Joe's Farm, Summervines at Vilagrad Winery, Mystery Creek Polo, University of Waikato O Week, The Race by Grins at Cambridge Raceway, school balls and countless private functions.
I've also played at bars and venues throughout the Waikato, Bay of Plenty and Coromandel, as well as events further afield.
